There is no swelling in the area where the application is made. Only a very slight degree of relief can be observed in the area due to the relaxation of the muscles. Since the Botox process is an injection application, creams containing local anesthesia are applied to the area before starting the procedure. After applying the cream, the patient is waited for 20 minutes for it to take effect, and then the patient is positioned according to the area to be treated and botulinum toxin is slowly injected into the muscles using fine-tipped needles. The process takes approximately 15 minutes. The action shows its effect as of the next day of application. However, the full desired effect can manifest itself in 10 days. For this reason, it would be wrong to expect immediate effects after application.
