It is a regional skin thickening that develops due to repetitive trauma such as friction and impact, usually in pressure areas corresponding to bone protrusions. In treatment, it is necessary to eliminate the underlying mechanical cause. Skin thinning solutions, cryotherapy, cauterization and, in necessary cases, surgical excision can be performed.
Calls are thickening of the skin due to various reasons and friction. As a result of the hardening of the skin in the upper layer, it irritates the underlying tissues and moves downwards.
