Hair Loss

Hair Loss
Androgenic Alopecia Male Pattern Hair Loss
It is a condition characterized by hair loss and hair loss, which generally begins in the 20-30s, in people with a genetic predisposition, associated with male hormone sensitivity.
With the effect of the hormone called dihydrotestosterone on the hair follicle, the hair diameter decreases, its length becomes shorter, its color becomes lighter and over time the hair follicle disappears completely.
The aim of treatment is to reduce hormonal activity and slow down shedding. Cosmetic methods such as sprays, drugs to reduce hormonal activity, mesotherapy and PRP are used in the treatment for this. Since hormonal activity will continue after the treatment, shedding may start again after the treatment is completed, so post-treatment should be continued with the dermatologist's recommendations. In more advanced stages, hair transplantation, wig application, hair prostheses and cosmetic camouflage can be applied.
Psoriasis is a skin disease that progresses with exacerbations and is seen in 1-3 out of every 100 people. It is seen equally in both genders and can occur at any age. It occurs most frequently in the 20 age group. Although there is a genetic predisposition, it is not seen in every member of the family. Environmental factors may increase it. It is usually distinguished by sharply demarcated pink-red plaques, which are pearl-like white-gray flakes that give the typical appearance of the disease.
Causes of hair loss
While it is considered normal to lose 100 hairs per day depending on the life cycle of the hair, hair loss exceeding this rate should be taken seriously and a doctor should be consulted.
How is hair loss treated?
Treatment of hair loss begins with finding the cause of hair loss. However, successful treatment is possible after a correct diagnosis is made. Every hair loss should first be evaluated by a dermatologist, and possible related conditions should be investigated.
Treatment options are arranged according to the cause and general hair health.
