Chemical Peeling

Chemical peeling application is to cause damage to the skin at certain depths and most importantly in a controlled manner, and then to ensure the reappearance of a healthy and vibrant skin. Chemical peeling applications have their own diversity.

Superficial chemical peeling is carried out with fruit acids and lactic acids and glycolic acids. Since these acids are extremely small molecules, they can easily pass into the lower layer of the skin. However, the lower layer we are talking about is not the lowest layer of the skin. In short, as a result of this procedure, blemishes on the skin surface can be eliminated. Peeling with salicylic acid, another molecule among superficial peelings, is generally applied to remove acne, pimples and blackheads. After the application, people can immediately return to their daily lives. Such superficial peelings are also applied to restore the brightness of the skin. Slight peeling may occur for a day or two after the procedure.

The medium-depth chemical peeling process, which is another chemical peeling application, is performed with Trichloroacetic acid and glycolic acids. It can be applied for blemishes, thick skin structure and deep pores. Peelings can continue for a week and are more intense.

Finally, deep chemical peeling; It is a peeling process performed with trichloroacetic acid, Bakers, Phenol and Jessner's solutions. It provides serious peeling of the skin and is used especially in removing acne scars, acne, skin blemishes and wrinkles and is extremely effective. There may be swelling and crusting in the area for 1-2 weeks, and there is a recovery period of about 2 months after the application.

Application sessions last approximately half an hour to an hour, depending on the area where the treatment will be performed. The number of sessions is determined by specialist doctors depending on the procedure and the condition of the skin. However, these session numbers are valid for superficial and medium depth peelings. Deep peeling application is a single session.
